PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY

I believe that the difference between a GOOD performer and
a GREAT performer is effort, determination, self motivation
and an unrelenting drive to succeed. It is the things done
when no one is looking and when everyone else is resting
that separates champions from participants. The hard work
and time to devote to your performance now will pay
dividends in your successes in the near future, whether it be
through your lifetime dream on playing in college or a
lucrative professional sports contract. In our competitive
world and in the world of sports, preparation is a MUST and
success is tied to how hard you work in the off-season to
MAXIMIZE AND DEVELOP YOUR POTENTIAL!
Mission  I Sport-Specific Training

The two primary goals for any athletes participating in our strength and conditioning programs is to improve
performance and reduce the opportunity for injury. In short, we want to enhance athletic performance and keep
our athletes as free from injury as possible. To accomplish these goals we adhere to the following guidelines;

  • Functional Training is mandatory
  • Emphasize Olympic-style exercises each workout
  • Develop as much power and speed capability as possible
  • Develop as much athleticism as possible
  • Develop training for your sport(s) is a priority
  • Own bodyweight training is an area of emphasis
  • Training movements rather than muscle groups is a focus
  • Make significant use of water as form of resistance
  • Training the core is a priority

We expect all athletes to train with great intensity, follow the training program provided to them, and to know at
all times they have outworked and are better prepared than their opponents.
